Andy Lowe

After working on professional theatre productions across Canada, Andy Lowe came to Sudbury in 1985 to appear in The Unexpected Guest at Sudbury Theatre Centre. He liked the town and stayed, working on over a dozen shows at STC and entertaining in bars and clubs in between theatre engagements. He released his first album A Sudbury Songbook in 2000 and has subsequently recorded three further albums, focusing his composing efforts on songs about this region. He has been the resident entertainer at Killarney Mountain Lodge for the past 23 years and has gained a solid reputation among the boaters and tourists to the area. He still appears at venues in Sudbury, most notably Fionn MacCool's, and is working on a fifth album of original songs.

Andy Lowe is best known for composing and singing iconic Northern Ontario songs like My Home in the North, Bound for Northern Ontario, Hard Rock Miner, The Blueberry Song, Fish Fry, and dozens more that celebrate where we live.

 Tessa and Petr Balaz

Tessa and Petr Balaz  met on a cold January night in 2017 at a MusicCounts fundraiser and have been inseparable ever since! They have toured internationally, sharing original music across Canada, Europe and the US, as well as had music featured in film/tv (Kim's Convenience, Henry's Cameras). Only fate could bring these two together in life, love and art and together they create and personify soul-pumping beats, sultry style, buttery vocals and addictive hooks.
