Maki, Tammy (Chef)

A proud Hunkpapa Nakota/Saulteaux Ojibwe from White Bear First Nation in Saskatchewan and a product of the Sixties Scoop, Chef Tammy is a Certified, Red Seal Journeyman Pastry Chef. She has worked as an executive pastry chef in some of the best restaurants, resorts, hotels, and bakeries throughout Canada. Chef Tammy had a vision for her future. Her wish is to learn and to share knowledge and understanding of Indigenous ingredients and the First Peoples on a Global scale.  Raven Rising, Global Indigenous Chocolates & Pastries represents a story, a journey into her own lost background and celebrates her findings along the way.
