Beth is the founding executive director and lead programmer for Sudbury Indie Cinema: a not-for-profit co-op which serves as northeastern Ontario’s first dedicated arthouse cinema. She has spearheaded film programming initiatives to address gaps in representation and biases in the film industry in order to give voice to under-represented groups and perspectives. Her background as a community organizer informs her approach to running an arts organization to be one that builds community.
