Micheline Blais is a Northern Ontario Producer/Casting Director who has established herself in the region as one of the North's producers. Starting off as a Casting Director, Cast North Productions has hired over 16,000 extras in more than 50 film and television projects in Northern Ontario since 2014, creating over 400 FTE jobs since her start in the industry. Casting for award winning films such as Goalie, Carter, Christmas Calendar, Northern Rescue, V-Wars, When Hope Calls, and Resident Evil. Micheline has assisted many northern actors in getting into ACTRA, the actors union, with the reward for them to earn a proper wage in the mindustry.The Opportunity to be mentored as a producer unfolded several years ago which has allowed her to expand CastNorth and hire and mentor others to continue the casting while she focuses more on Producing.

Some of her projects include Christmas In Love, Country at Heart ,Kicking Blood and most recently Co-Producing on Zombie Town. In all, these projects have been able to create 150 FTE jobs in Northern Ontario. She is currently in development for several projects.The learning curve in the Film Industry is constant, and the landscape is forever changing which is why Micheline is so passionate about the work and the ability to help and teach others through this medium.For More information see:
